Personal branding is much more than what you do or how your website and business cards appear. It's you—only you. It allows you to stand out from the crowd by highlighting what makes you distinctive in who you are and what you do. This project focused on developing a personal branding ID system for businesses.
A personal brand will allow you to clearly and consistently define, express, and communicate who you are. For this project, I decided to focus on hierarchy and type since they are far more relevant in this project. I wanted to choose a professional typeface that expressed a sense of creativity. I decided to go with a Sans Serif because it best fits the criteria I was looking for. For my logo design, I decided to great my name out in Arabic and made a logo out of it. The geometric shapes fit very well with the theme I was going for; I added small Strokes on the top right-hand side of the logo to symbolize a closed eye with lashes. It is meant to represent an “evil eye, " a middle eastern belief.
This project allowed me to practice applying parallel structures in the layout by putting the logo in relevant places on each ID system design. To practice Gestalt principles by maintaining similarity while still Giving each design proximity.
